“Greetings and welcome to the website for Christ the Shepherd Lutheran Church! This is no accidental visit on your part, but a God-ordained moment, and we are so happy that you would spend some time getting to know us. At Christ the Shepherd Lutheran Church we believe that we are all called by God to love Him and to love our neighbors. We are a church family made up of individuals who have experienced the love of God ourselves and wish to share that love with others. We are not perfect people but are forgiven people.
We believe that Jesus was sent to earth by God the Father so that we might be declared righteous – acceptable to God. Because we have been forgiven ourselves, we have hope in our lives, not just for the here and now, but for all eternity! What amazing, good news! The new identity we have because of Jesus – that we have been adopted into God’s own family, makes us want to share the love of God with others.
At Christ the Shepherd, there are always opportunities for service. We are also a people of prayer. You may have noticed the PRAYING selection in our website navigation menu. Feel free to use it and the on-line form provided to reach out to us at any time. We would love to pray for you.
If you are ever in the vicinity, we invite you to worship with us on any Sunday at 9:00am. We are informal and relaxed, and I know you would be made to feel welcome. Again, I thank you for taking the time to visit our web page. Please let us know if we can be of assistance to you in any way.”
